These terms cover your use of thatrandomagency.com (the "Site"), operated by Random Agency LLC, doing business as That Random Agency ("we," "us," "Random"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What this site is
The Site is a marketing website. We use it to share who we are, what we do, and how to get in touch. You can read our pages, submit our contact form, and sign up for our newsletter.
If you become a client, the work itself is governed by a separate signed agreement between us. These terms only cover the Site.
Using the site
You can use the Site for your own personal or business research. In return, you agree not to:
Copy, scrape, or republish our content without permission
Try to break, overload, or probe the Site for vulnerabilities
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to harvest data from the Site
Reverse engineer any part of the Site
Use the Site to send spam, malware, or anything illegal
Pretend to be someone you're not when contacting us
If you do any of this, we can block your access without notice.
Our content
Everything on the Site (writing, design, logos, images, code, the way it's all put together) belongs to us or the people we license it from. You can read it, share links to it, and quote short excerpts with credit. You can't republish it, repackage it, or pass it off as your own.
The "Random" name and logo are trademarks of Random Agency LLC. Don't use them without written permission.
What you send us
When you submit our contact form or sign up for the newsletter, you're giving us the information voluntarily. We handle it according to our Privacy Policy.
If you send us an idea, suggestion, or feedback (an email about a blog post, a thought on a service, anything like that), we can use it without owing you anything. We're not in the business of stealing ideas, but we're also not going to turn down good thinking because of a technicality.
Third-party links
We sometimes link to other websites. We don't control them and we're not responsible for what's on them. If you click through and something goes wrong, that's between you and the site you ended up on.
No guarantees about the site
We work to keep the Site running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date. Things break. Information becomes stale. Servers go down. We provide the Site "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
The content on the Site is for general information. It's not legal, financial, or professional advice. Don't make decisions based on a blog post without talking to someone qualified.
Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Random Agency LLC and our team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we knew such damages were possible.
If a court decides we're liable for something despite the above, our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).
This section doesn't apply to anything the law says we can't disclaim.
You agree to indemnify us
If your use of the Site, or your violation of these terms, causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending and resolving that claim.
Ending access
We can suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. You can stop using the Site at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using the Site after we update them, you're agreeing to the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute related to the Site or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
If part of this is unenforceable
If a court decides any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
